  • This project was a ground-up new hospital in Maquoketa, Iowa. Our work began on site with cold formed metal framing. Working through the winter, our teams of carpenters constructed the two level shell of this new regional health center. Enclosing the shell and applying the weather barrier lasted through the spring when the bulk of the interior work could begin. We framed metal stud walls, sheeted and finished the walls. We also installed several interesting ceiling features including 10" Armstrong Axiom architectural reveal transitions at ceiling height changes, as well as a high ceiling in the monumental stairway composed of Metalworks Linear products.

  • Prime's team working on this project encountered and overcame many challenges on this project. From weather, to design conflicts, we're proud of the effort put forth by our site team to partner with the C.M., and the architects and engineers to resolve issues quickly and keep the project moving forward.
